WINDSURF NEW! XO SAILS 2023

XO SAILS SHARK v7 WAVE & FREEWAVE

// DESCRIPTION

The Shark is the Wave Onshore - Freewave sail in the XO Sails range.

Designed as a pure 5 batten wave sail, its qualities in terms of stability, wind holding
and speed allow it to be used as a Freewave / Bump & Jump in strong winds.
It is above all an ultra versatile sail that suits all types of riders and will adapt to many
 spots. If you want to have one sail to do everything and not change models all the time,
 the Shark is the ideal weapon.

On the XO Sails Shark v7, we still use Pentex at the head of the sail which combines
flexibility, weight saving and solidity, and we have reworked the materials of the other
panels as well as the outline of the sail in order to give it more general flexibility and
especially to increase considerably its range of use.

XO SAILS SKULL v7 RADICAL WAVE

// DESCRIPTION

The Skull is our radical 4 batten wave sail from the XO sails range.
With its 4-batten shape, the Skull is ultra-light in the arms and offers exceptional
handling with perfect balance in the hands, even in the biggest gusts. It is a sail that
will adapt to all conditions, from side-shore with powerful hollow waves to more
imperfect on-shore conditions with less propulsive waves.

With a trough positioned in the front of the sail, it will deliver the power you need when
you need it, but also cut it off in a fraction of a second.

With the use of Pentex at the head of the sail and work done on the outline and
materials of the other panels, the Skull 2022 offers rock solid strength while bringing a
 gain in flexibility and range of use, with notably increased control in the high range of
use.

XO SAILS VEGA v7 FREERACE NO CAM

// DESCRIPTION

The Vega is the no-cam Freerace sail of the range. It is a particularly well designed sail
 with a marked and perfectly blocked hollow: it provides power and continuous
acceleration just like a cam sail but with the added lightness, maneuverability and
accessibility.

Fully rigged for strength, the Vega will stand up to the ravages of time and abuse.
The use of Q-ply (anilox material) at the head of the sail provides flexibility and allows
a weight saving of 15 to 20% without reducing the strength.

Offering high performance, the Vega will suit riders who are looking for a sail that
performs in all conditions without sacrificing ease of use.

XO SAILS SILVER v7 FREERACE-SLALOM

// DESCRIPTION

The Silver is our freerace sail of the range. For 2022, we have increased the luff
roundand keep the 2 cambers as well as a moderately sized sleeve, while carrying
out a specific work on the shape.

With its 6 battens, the Silver remains stable in all conditions while developing the
power necessary for an early planning. With a constant tension on the rear hand, the
Silver is quick and nonetheless remains particularly light and accessible, making her
an ideal sail for long distances.

It’s also perfectly suited to riders who are sailing in slalom but are looking for a
technically less sophisticated rig to adjust and operate than a pure slalom sail. Easy to
rig and efficient even with an 80% Carbon mast, the Silver is also a benchmark sail in
FFV competitions, as it enters in the RRD120 gauge for young U20.

XO SAILS GOLD v7 SLALOM

// DESCRIPTION

We are now at the 7th version of our racing machine: the new XO Sails Gold is
definitely the ultimate weapon to be at the front of the pack in slalom races and long
distance windsurfing.
We have once again made no concessions on the design of our racing sail: offering
the best possible performance whatever the conditions remains our leitmotif.
We have therefore decided to use a new weft material, Pentex, on this new version.
Used on the sleeve, it gives back flexibility to the sail while allowing a weight gain of
15 to 20% without sacrificing the solidity.
With specific work done on the shape of the sail (refined batten outlets, reworked
head opening, positioning of the hollow...), the Gold v7 is a sail that develops power
to provide a great start to the planning, and frank accelerations.
Fast and with an incredible hold in the maxis, it will bring you all the resources
necessary to replace you and overtake your competitors.
It is a sail without concession which has only one objective: to lead you to victory!

XO SAILS Fly Foil v2

// DESCRIPTION

We present you the brand new sail from XO Sails 100% dedicated to windfoil, the FLY
v2 !

The FLY sail is a sail without concession with only one objective: to offer the best ratio
of ease / Performance / Fun whatever the conditions. On this new sail we have
focused on lightness and stability.
Thanks to its 5-batten profile blocked by 2 cambers, the Fly combines the advantages
of a pure Freeride with the performance of a Freerace.
The perfectly locked trough allows it to keep all its power, lightness, maneuverability
and performance even when the wind is rising.
With specific work done on the sail shape, the Fly v2 is lighter in the arms and less
tiring to fly, especially on long runs.
In order to allow you to use it in all conditions without any second thought, we have
chosen to use the lightest and strongest materials. The Fly benefits from the same
construction as our wave sails.
We used Q-Ply on all the top panels of the sail, which gives the sail flexibility while
saving 15-20% in weight without sacrificing strength.
The FLY is aimed at riders who are looking for a sail that is easy to use, light and
 above all not very physical. It is a glider that will give you great sensations without
being too technical. Simple, light, stable in flight, it is an ideal glider to have fun
whatever the conditions with a very fast and intuitive handling.

XO SAILS Gold Foil v2

// DESCRIPTION

Because the slalom-race in foil doesn’t suffer from any compromises, we created
the Gold Foil.
Designed to transcend the performance of your race foils, the new XO Sails Gold Foil
 2022-2023 will provide all the necessary resources for all points of sailing, and
especially at close upwind or downwind.
This latest version opens more on the top of the sail with more luff roundand a lowered
 border. With a change in the angle of the top battens, the new Gold Foil develops a
little less power in the low end but holds up much better in the max. The range of use
is extended. With a minimal drag and a high flight stability, performances are optimized.
Just like on the Gold, we have used the new screen material, the Pentex, which, when
used on the sleeve, gives flexibility to the sail while allowing a weight gain of 15 to 20%
without sacrificing strength.
